BOWLER, WI (WSAU) — A local casino will be shutting its doors for over 3 weeks.
According to a Facebook post, North Star Mohican Casino Resort and Pine Hills Golf Course is voluntarily shutting down all operations. The post says the temporary closure is to “protect the health and safety of our community and in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribe”.

The casino is aiming for a tentative reopening date after October 13th, just under 20 days after closing.
